Our Mission and Purpose

St. Peter’s mission is to grow disciples of Jesus Christ and to make waves of God’s love of hope, healing, & transformation in the world!

Together with God’s Spirit, we seek to create and nurture enthusiastic ministry: spreading the good news of Jesus Christ; growing deeper in faith as we celebrate in wide open worship, learn and study together and reach out to the world with God’s inclusive all-embracing love as this love makes a difference in us, in our families, in our communities and especially in God’s world.

Directions

Centrally located in the downtown shopping area of Ocean City, NJ, St. Peters United Methodist Church sits on the corner of 8th Street and Central Avenue.

 Driving directions: Upon entering Ocean City via the Ninth Street Bridge, continue down Ninth Street to Central Avenue, turn left, we are located on the corner of Eighth Street.

 Parking: On Central Avenue, the lot next to the church, and the lot behind the church.
